Salary: NJC Grade A: £24,413 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 8.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. (11.30am - 13.15pm Monday - Friday) 

Wilcombe Primary School are seeking to recruit a Mealtime Assistant, who will join a successful and caring team. We are looking for someone with a strong, sensitive and caring approach to children’s needs, who can be flexible and is able to be an effective communicator and think creatively.

Ideally, you will:

  • Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
  • Have high expectations of children’s behaviour and be able to maintain consistent boundaries
  • Be willing and able to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Be able to use your own initiative when required

The nature of this role requires carrying heavy equipment and the employee regularly being on their feet. Due to the physical demands of the role, must have full flexibility/agility. All relevant training will be provided and is essential to the role.
